Worship Recordings

Pick up (or download) a Worship Recordings release and you will be treated to the best in dubbed-out-deep-disco-garage-house. Label boss Rob Paine is also half of Kidz On Christian Street (with Chris Udoh), and half of Solomonic Sound (with Zach Eberz). The label has garnered excellent press across both the U.K. and U.S., and is widely regarded as one of the best house labels to come out of Philadelphia. Now with Rocket (aka DJ Garth and Eric James) on the production team, Worship Recordings is ready to conquer dance floors across the world.

[E]Motion Detectors
Having made his name as a Wamdue Kid, Chris Udoh is moving onwards and upwards with newcomer June Lopez under the guise of [E]Motion Detectors. The duo's deep swirling house productions have been compared to Rocket, DJ Rasoul, and Dano.

Divine Conception
Divine Conception is another alias for Worship Recordings head-honcho Rob Paine. His dub-influenced deep house ditties have earned him a reputation as the Bob Marley of house music.

Kidz On Christian St.
Like your house super dubby? Then look no further than the Kidz On Christian Street. This partnership between Worship Recordings label boss Rob Paine and Chris Udoh (of Wamdue Kids fame), has produced some of the finest in deep, organic house a la Grayhound, Svek, and Placktown Sounds.

Hakan Lidbo
You can find Hakan Lidbo's low-slung tech-house grooves on a mind-boggling number of European labels, such as Paper, Force-Trax, Pokerflat, and Loaded. More recently, the Swedish king of house music spread his wings stateside via Transmat, Plastic City, Fiji, and Worship.

Nectar
L.A.'s Adam Tenenbaum (Nectar) makes dark dubby house music for sweaty warehouse parties and dingy downtown clubs alike. San Francisco's Grayhound was first to recognize his talent. Philly's Worship and London's Abnormal were swift to follow.

Rob Paine
Rob Paine produces music for the mind as much as he does for the feet. You could just as easily sit down and chill out to these sounds as you could stand up and let your legs do their work. Deep, well-produced and extremely funky house music.

Rocket
Rocket is DJ Garth and Eric James, and they make some of the best deep, dubby disco house this side of the pond. Their style has taken the underground club world by storm and put San Francisco on the international house music map.

Solomonic Sound
As Solomonic Sound, Rob Paine and Zack Ererz expertly fuse laid-back dub with dance floor house. With a sound that has become very popular with working DJs in and around San Francisco, the Solomonic Sound will appeal to fans of labels Grayhound, Noid, and U-Star.
