Suction Records

Spearheading the bedroom robot music revolution of the 21st century, Suction Records, based out of Toronto, Canada, is run by Jason Amm of Solvent and Gregory De Rocher of Lowfish. With an affinity for analogue gear, melody, and the traditional sounds of '80s electonic artists such as Depeche Mode, Roedelius, and OMD, Suction has honed in on a sound that appreciates the past and challenges the norms of contemporary electronic music. Amm and De Rocher founded the label in 1997.
