Skunkrock Productions
Skunkrock Productions originated in '96 as an artist name for Daniel Savine and Simon Wells aka Vortexion (Reinforced Recordings). But it was not until mid '97, when Daniel joined forces with Mark Bauer and Markus Maier that Skunkrock Productions was truly born as a label. The first release come out in '97 and received good reviews throughout Germany as well as their second release which store up dance floors in '98. Skunkrock saw their next release one year later with the smashing remix of Daniel Savine's tune "This Time" by the one and only Dom and Roland (Moving Shadow).
Skunkrock has now joined with Vinyl Distribution and is seeing heavy rotation by DJ Bailey (Metalheadz, UK), Dom and Roland (Moving Shadow, UK), Lee (Metalheadz, UK), Klute (Certificate 18, UK), and international DJ's as well.
A worthy follow-up was finished and released in December '99 featuring Tha Coutamen and Alley Cat with a massive remix treatment from Renegade Hardware's Glasgow duo Konflict. The new tunes will be featured on Epitonic in the near future. Also, more releases have been confirmed for the near future including tunes and remixes by the likes of Triadd, Digital and Spirit, UFO!, Konflict, Savine and Kabuki as well as Klute, You will certainly be hearing from this label in the near future!
