Real Estate is owned and operated by Chicago's Tim Baker, who is also the proprietor of the all-techno Elephanthaus. Based in the heart of house music country, the label had no problem signing tracks from legends such as Fast Eddie, Daniell Spencer, Tyree Cooper, and newcomers such as DJ Jes, DJ Jacq, The Phoenix, and Harmony Funk.

DJ Fast Eddie
Chicago DJ and producer Fast Eddie was a pioneer of so-called hip-house back in the late '80s and early '90s. Since teaming up with Tim Baker's Real Estate imprint, Eddie has turned his hand to producing deep, funky house.
