Run by the members of Mariner 9, Miner Street is a label/studio in Philadelphia. This entity has been an important part of the local scene, recording great local talent for cheap. This is Philly rock at its finest.
Eltro
Eltro: ethereal, enigmatic, epic. These Philadelphia mesmerists use guitars, percussion, and heavy electronics to play with dynamics, texture, and tone, and in doing so create a voluminous sound that suggests strange constellations and unknown planetary systems.
The Long Drive
These guys have a way of sucking you in to their sonic playland, where a
melodic mist hangs heavy in the air and you continuously lose yourself in a
maze of sonic walls.
The Marinernine
Top shelf power pop, aged to perfection. These Philadelphia long time rockers know how to write songs that make you smile even though you just got your ass kicked.
Reizoko
In their own chilled out style, Reizoko easily shift gears from the earnest, sensitive-boy-with-loud-toy space rock to faraway drone-fests of rising and falling waves and tones.
Splendorbin
A Philadelphia favorite back in '96, Splendorbin shook the houses of West Philly with its disgruntled guitar assault, maniacal drums, and meandering song style.
