Humboldt County

Surrey's Humboldt County is the tech-house brother to the immensely successful Kingsize imprint. While Kingsize focuses on cutting edge breakbeat, Humboldt County has enlisted the likes of Justin Deighton (Dark Boogie), Justin Drake and Steve Roast (Delaware Saints), Martin Beaver (Fathead), and Matthew "Bushwacka!" B. for their respective tech-house talents.

Dark Boogie
Dark Boogie is the alter ego of former Pacific Records mainstay Justin Deighton. You can also find Deighton's original house concoctions on his own label, Product Deluxe, alongside releases from Soul Patrol, Eastside Movement, and The Unslung Heroes.

Delaware Saints
Delaware Saints is a co-production between Justin Drake (Peace Division) and Steve Roast. Their sublime late night house is suitable for anyone into DiY, Drop, and Low Pressings.

Fathead
Formerly signed to Junior Boys Own, breakbeat god Martin Beaver (aka Fathead, Kerb Crawler, and Dylan Rhymes) is now going it alone on his own Blue Black label and a slew of others, including Humboldt County and Whole Nine Yards.

Morose
Morose is a mysterious Italian house producer that neither we nor Humboldt County know diddly squat about -- apart from the fact that he makes cracking music. Honest, guv.

Mr. B. Wacka
Matthew "Bushwacka!" B. blends futuristic house-tempo tech with floor-shaking breaks. Having cut his teeth on London's seminal Sunrise FM pirate station, he now holds a residency at The End in London and runs two labels, Plank and Oblong.
