Compost
Founded in '94 by all round music enthusiast Michael Reinboth, Munich's Compost Records has taken the world of breaks and nu-jazz by storm with releases from A Forest Mighty Black, Beanfield, Fauna Flash, Truby Trio, and Funkstorung. In addition to their jaw-dropping Future Sound of Jazz and Glucklich compilations they have also released singles and albums from Les Gammas, Kyoto Jazz Massive, and The Amalgamation Of Soundz. With their sub-labels Compose (house) and Jazzanova Compost Records (a collaborative effort with nu-jazz pioneers Jazzanova), Compost is without doubt one of the best German labels in existence.
