Ace of Hearts Records

Founded by Rick Harte in 1978, Ace of Hearts was an integral part of the Boston music scene of the late '70s and early '80s, becoming famous for releasing the records of post-punk greats Mission of Burma. The label has stuck around over the years and continues to release great rock records.

Chaotic Past
New York's Chaotic Past is a straight-up no-frills hard rock band that likes it big and loud and won't have it any other way. Their sound is heavy with big bad blues riffs and classic testosterone-driven rock power.

Mission Of Burma
By all accounts, Mission of Burma was one of the best American punk bands ever to set foot on a stage or inside a recording studio. They paved the way for multitudes of post-punk bands with brilliantly nervous, declamatory rock that's bound to bump up your heart rate a bit.

The Wild Stares
Before evolving into the many-membered musical collective W.A.C.O., The Wild Stares were a noisy art-rock band in the '80s and early '90s that played a messy, energizing brand of post-punk full of nonsensical speak-sing vocals, nervous rhythms, and knife-edged guitars.
