I have a car that I rarely drive but have almost paid off, so it sits behind my house, alternately reminding me "Hey! You should sell me!" or "Hey, don't sell me! I'm like a million years old but still pretty much brand new due to lack of use!" To atone for my neglect and also to give it a chance to run around and stretch its car legs, I'm planning a 1,465 mile round-trip drive later this summer, a prospect that's equal parts stupid and exciting, considering how unused I am to being in cars for more than 15 minutes at a time these days. At the very least, it's giving me a chance to make driving playlists again -- something I used to do all the time and never have an excuse to do anymore.
