This fella' Bob recently shared an article on the Facebook regarding introversion. As I sat reading it, I began to get a bit creeped out as it felt a complete stranger was describing nearly every detail of my personality. The piece discussed how misunderstood introversion is, and it completely opened my eyes to the very fact that I am, indeed, extremely introverted. I had always claimed to be an introvert, and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test always told me I was, but everything I read about introversion previously would have you assume I hate talking to people, hate other people's ideas, and overall, am a generally shitty person. Knowing I'm not that shitty, and that I do enjoy talking to people, it always felt weird being an introvert. So thank you to Bob and thank you to Jonathan Rauch at the Atlantic for enlightening me. Cheers!
