This certainly has it's downfalls. The makes it difficult to call any one neighborhood, city, or state home. I supposed I always identify Chicago as home, but I haven't spent the majority of my life in the city. There were Wisconsin years and Ohio years and even Arizona and Las Vegas years.
Every three years or so I need to move. It's never anything personal. When I was a kid we used to move for my dad's job every three years. I remember thinking in high school "Man, when I get older and have kids...like 24...I'm totally gonna buy a house and live there forever." Now that I'm well past 24 with no kids, I couldn't think of a more boring plan than to live in one place for the rest of my life.
