White Plains
Sugarshack Records
White Plains is a project comprised of Sugarshack Productions' own Sugar Ray, plus cohorts Lane Tha Lyrical, 2Ra, and Ajax. Sharp rhymes and extremely well-crafted, finely layered production define the White Plains sound. Lane lends very pure, freestyling lyrical; prowess that is well-suited to White Plains' funky, jazz-influenced flow.
"Concrete Jungle" is from the MAD LOVE compilation, a joint effort by Sugarshack and Integrity Records designed to benefit the Sheway Project, a Vancouver-based shelter for pregnant women. Check out some other tracks from the complilation from Social Deviantz and Shines 'n' F-roc.
