Titonton Duvante is a unique and talented DJ whose style has garnered him worldwide acceptance and numerous accolades. In the past, Duvante has worked with electronic music luminaries such as 4 Hero's Dego, Morgan Geist, Dan Curtin, and Todd Sines. Melodic textures and vibrant, intelligent rhythms that impress are what you will hear.
Since his debut on Dan Curtin's fine Metamorphic imprint, Duvante has scored accolades wordwide with "Voyeurism" and "Voyeurism Remixes." Both Muzik Magazine and Mixmag in the U.K. gave "Voyeurism" four out of five marks in March 1999. The remixes demonstrate how Duvante has rapidly earned the respect of established artists from overseas. The project included top notch U.K. producers Rue East (Dave Hill and Mark Broom of Pure Plastic) and also up and coming Gallic duo, Stephan & Christophe.
Listen to the deep percussive funk, dreamy undercurrents, bent strings, sharpened techy metallic sounds and you will undoubtedly discover the fabulous French flair for creative and surprising remixes that are an amalgamation of Mid-western U.S. techno with U.K. and Detroit elements, yet with a highly distictive edge. Duvante also has releases on Ohio's Residual Recordings, including the recent Pornographic EP featuring a remix by the renowned Morgan Geist.
