The Interstate Ten's music is a pensive foray into pained whispers, a love letter disguised as a suicide note. Their plaintive scrawls of melody reverberate like a marooned mariner who speaks aloud just to hear another voice. Their Wrenched Records release is a paean to the painful, exultant in its despair. This is not to say that all is quiet on the Interstate. They are easily aroused from their somber state into kinetic emocore. The Interstate Ten is oh-so-effective when treading the terrain of sparseness.
