A life-long music lover and a true child of the P-Funk, searching for soul in the sounds that surround, The Baroness can trace her rich and varied musical lineage from her childhood roots in Chicago, down through her current reign in San Francisco, and across her sojourns to cities hither and yonder.
Hip hop, house, techno, breakbeat, funk, disco, drum and bass are all within her control when she pulls out treasures from her vinyl vaults and begins blending beats with a butterfly's grace while making sure the bass bins boom. Quaking, shaking, and breaking go down across the dance floor when this supa-fine Amazon DJ diva smoothly shows her finesse on the decks and mixer. The Baroness can play the peak hour rave set or a delirious deep, funky small room set with equal ease. She is rooted in the old school but is always bringing in new sounds as she discovers them.

sounds of Sunburn are the best representation of the Baroness's ability to play it all. The Baroness is one of those DJ/producers who knows no real defining lines between genres of music: she can and will play it all. House, hip hop, breakbeat, funk, or disco, it's all beats to her.
