Busting out of the same San Diego scene that produced Blink 182, Swindle plays snotty, energetic punk in the tradition of the Descendents. Despite their youth, they've been a force in the San Diego punk scene for the past five years or so, generating a loyal following and releasing a number of seven-inches, and a couple of full-lengths, including Within these Walls, a huge 17-song record containing the featured song, "Within." You're going to have a hard time resisting their hyperactive, tuneful, pissed-off punk rawk attack. They've got in-your-face lyrics to match, which range from diatribes about the state of the nation to rants about Madonna. Swindle is young, angry, loud, and quite cheerful about being all those things.
