Sterling Silver
Slowdance Records
San Diego's Sterling Silver is a testament that great songs and post-rock can live together in harmony. The band has put together a full-length CD, with the help of recorder extraordinaire Tim Green, that lets many facets of the pop sapphire shine. The music is intricate and intense, yet soft and flowing adding piano, strings, and percussion to the standard four-piece rock arrangement. This subtle symphony is also blessed with both male and female vocals that intertwine and then stand on their own to paint a picture and tell a story. Sterling Silver explores the deepest reaches of the dark and the pretty to emit a feeling of honesty and understanding.
