Slimer personifies the West Coast blitzkrieg pop punk sound that is fueling the owners of skateboards, BMX bikes, and baggy pants everywhere. Slimer takes this lightning candy punk that reinvents NOFX and the Descendents and then throws it into a moshpit of themes such as masturbation, strip clubs, heavy metal, sex, and well...more sex. But forget this smutty image: most of the lyrics are actually quite sensitive and innocent, and the boys themselves look pretty darn harmless. Jokingly calling themselves Blink 183, Slimer falls in the same ballpark as their label mate and may even be playing for the same ball team, but this band is doing their own thing for sure.
