The somewhat casual formation of Sleigh Bells has clearly made for a
successful pairing. The duo was initially formed in a restaurant when
Miller expressed interest as a waiter that he was searching for dynamic
vocalist to join his team, who happened to to be the pop-oriented vocals
of Alexis Krauss. From their first release in 2008, Sleigh
Bells have quickly taken the attention of large festivals, including
Coachella, Primavera Sound Festival, and Pitchfork Music Festival.
