Simon V. (real name Simon Jarosch) is probably the most technology-obsessed musician to come out of Germany since
Kraftwerk. He has been composing electronic dance music on computer, developing sampling and sequencing software with underground 'net music' groups like Radical Rhythms and D-Lusion, and posting his music to the Internet since 1994. He has also set up a record label (Santorin) with a collective of DJs, musicians, and producers in the college town of Tubingen, Germany. His future plans include releasing Santorin Records 004 and, in the year after next, conversing with his friend HAL 9000.
