Shuggie
Cargo Music
A denim-clad, party-timin', boogie-woogie beast of a rock band screamin' out of Seattle, WA. Forget grunge and gloom, this quartet offers good-natured, ragged guitar rock with a touch of glam flair -- sort of a struttin' arena rock Replacements. Toe-tappin, darn solid rock and roll that doesn't front.
Led by Andrew McKeag of Uncle Joe's Big Ol' Driver, the Shuggie boys issued their self-titled debut on Cargo in 1998, which is the album that featured "New Brooklyn Orbit." That same year they came back with a second album called Waiting for MCA.
