This Texas quartet expertly mines the guitar-heavy post-grunge hard rock sound popularized by acts like
Live, Matchbox 20, Everclear, Seven Mary Three, Fuel, and Creed. Integrating classic arena rock power with Soundgardenesque dark guitar grunginess, Seven Channels rips through muscular alt-rock anthems designed to be played at maximum volume to legions of youthful fans in large American sports facilities. After forming in the mid '90s, the band released the International Wonderful EP, which led to their being named one of the "Top Five Unsigned Bands in America" by VH1. A second EP, Velcro Parade, followed. The band's self-titled Palm debut full-length hit stores in mid 2001.
