Rizing Sun Productions was born in 1990 of the desires of three young men, Scientific, Black Sun, and Infinite, to unify and educate the black community, share social and political observations, and "build a stronger hip hop nation." Testifying to the long, hard road to coming correct and the time it takes to know one's self, these three nowaday Panthers have forgone prospects of big record deals and safe careers to make an album that reflects their own vision and ideals. They have also taken the time to nurture the Bay Area conscious hip hop community with activism and bumpin' live shows at venues like La Pena Cultural Center in Berkeley and S.F. State University.
