Radio Flyer is an unbelievable weeklong collaboration between Alex Dunham (formerly of Hoover and Regulatorwatts), Kevin Frank (Gauge, Traluma, Sweater Weather), Ryan Rapsys (Euphone, Gauge), and Paul Obrecht (Sweater Weather). This combination adds up to long, intricate tunes that feature bursts of energy and amazing instrumentation. Each song concocts a mix of the musical styles that could be expected by judging the credentials above. Tthe songs possess a uniqueness all their own, with songwriting and structures punctual and precise. To describe Radio Flyer by tossing around a few band names and turning on the blender only tells half of the story, to understand the complete work you just have to listen.
