Shanghai's Pairs' make scrappy, lo-fi punk they themselves describe as being 'awful'. They're wrong. Their first cassette, titled Summer Sweat, was released on Bomb Shop in 2012. Consisting of Xiao Zhong on drums and F on guitar, Pairs scream their way through rapid-fire punk jingles that are part No Age, part Boredoms. Mainly their songs are about "doing good shit before you die."
