Moped
Vital Cog Records
This is the posthumous album from the band Moped. During their three-year career, they reaped glorious reviews and enjoyed great radio success due to their infectious display of distorted indie pop. Yep, you can hear some serious early Superchunk influence here. Moped can also switch their dynamics to a softer and janglier (yes, janglier) sound such as with the band Versus. Their energy is indeed a treat for those who long for the day of feedback laced pop and disjointed melodies. Wait; don't forget the nice boy/girl harmonies. It is too bad these folks broke up, because the really did rock. Oh well, download it and you'll never know the difference.
