Miguel Migs and Marc Jellybear
Tilted Records
As far as house producers go, Miguel Migs is hotter than Death Valley in the middle of July. His smooth, often vocal, deep-house renditions have been licensed to numerous high-profile labels including Transport, Large, Yoshitoshi, Zebra, and NRK. His masterly remixes on Naked Music have attracted the attention of the International press and have been partially responsible for bringing the label to fame. Often teaming with fellow San Franciscan DJ Rasoul, Migs can be found spinning his eclectic blend of deep house in and around San Francisco, and is resident DJ at the Naked Music monthly party Scuba.
Long time DJ and promoter Marc Jellybear has been a key player in the development of the San Francisco underground scene. In this rare production appearance he teams with Migs for the Seattle-based Tilted imprint. "Summer 7" is a warm late night-cum-early morning deep-house gem that should appeal to fans of Drop, Mantis, and D.I.Y. This is the way house music should be made.
