MC Paul Barman
Matador Records
New Jersey's MC Paul Barman gained an education at Brown before plunging headfirst into the world of hip hop. His first narrative ("Enter Pan-man") was championed by Prince Paul, the forward-thinking producer behind the likes of Stetsasonic, De La Soul, and most recently, Handsome Boy Modeling School. In early 2000 they paired up to produce the EP It's Very Stimulating for WordSound Records. Matador was quick to recognize Barman's talent and duly signed him to their impressive roster of artists. "How Hard Is That?" b/w "Housemate Troubles" is his debut single for the label.
