Chi-town's Marky Star is better known as one half of tech-house outfit Omni A.M. His solo work sees him delve further into the world of deep and textured futuristic house.
Marky Star leads the way in tech-house production in his hometown, Chicago. Star formed Euphoria (with Omni A.M. partner Adam Collins) as a DJ agency, and later morphed it into a fully-blown label. "Drop Out" and "Satellite Disco," two of Star's rare solo outputs, utilize infectious bass loops, well-produced synths, and timely vocal samples.
