This delightful Swedish indie pop quintet should remind listeners of their English counterparts, like
Boyracer, and their American ones, like The Aislers Set. They make a cleanly produced uptempo pop racket with ridiculously perky keyboards, Pogo-stick-bouncy rhythms, sunnily strummed guitars, and sweet, anxious male vocal harmonies. Since their mid-'90s formation, The Leslies have been criminally underexposed in the States, with their two albums and several singles available only on Europe. Seattle's Jigsaw Records took some steps towards changing that by reissuing the band's second LP, Of Today-For Today, in 1999.
