Kath Bloom With Loren MazzaCane Connors
Reminiscent of depression era folk music, Kath Bloom and Connors' recordings from 1981-1984 occasionally bring the Carter Family to mind. These were songs released in the early '80s in such a limited number that the artists themselves don't have copies. Almost all of these songs are characterized by Bloom's plaintive voice and acoustic guitar backed by Connors's improvised guitar musings. Today, Connors records strangely beautiful guitar improvisations while Bloom continues to play folk music in Florida.
