Manchester, England's Steve Mosco (Jah Warrior) discovered reggae, and more specifically dub, in the early '70s while attending events such as Rock Against Racism. After making the pilgrimage to London in the early '80s, Mosco was turned onto Jah Shaka and his awesome sound system dances. Fueled by a love of all things Jamaican, Mosco built a reputation as a formidable selector on London's many pirate radio stations and with the Humble Lion sound system, which later became Jah Warrior.

In the true tradition of DJ-turned-producer, Mosco began pressing exclusive dub plates for the Jah Warrior sound system and subsequently released his debut single on Mr. Modo Records in '90. Five years later, Mosco launched the Jah Warrior label with the single "22nd Book," before going on to release cuts from the likes of Jamaican roots vocalist Peter Broggs, Nigerian DJ and MC Afrikan Simba, and reggae legend Prince Alla. Now firmly established as one of the U.K.'s finest roots reggae and dub producers, Mosco works with artists such as Alton Ellis, Dillinger, Horace Andy, Trinity, and U-Brown.

Mosco released Jah Golden Throne by Peter Broggs on his own label in '00, and Portland, Oregon's BSI Records went on to release the dub reworks a year later. With heavy emphasis on the echo chamber, "I Put My Trust In Dub" and "I Want To Tell The World I Love Dub" are two classic cuts from the album.
