H.S.O.
Drop Beat
DJ Sifu (the man behind the highly successful Thermal imprint), dawgshit (hip hop producer extraordinaire), and Flemme Fatale (studio engineer of some notoriety) are the three minds behind the uncompromising, abstract drum and bass sound of H.S.O. They cleverly bridge the gap between Bay Area hip hop and pre '95 U.K. jump up jungle appealing to the (more) open dance floor and laid back, listening environment.
Since their first eponymous release on the Drop Beat label, the three have gone their own separate and successful ways. There is talk of a reunion and a new meaning behind the H.S.O. acronym. Until then, we will have to wait with bated breath.
