Fuxa is the sound of recognizable forms slipping into ambiguity and abstraction. Fuxa is what it sounds like to leave behind the gravitational force of a planet and enter a domain of weightlessness and floatation. Fuxa is Randall Nieman and Ryan Anderson, two musically inclined astral projectionists who joined in 1995, after leaving their previous bands behind to pursue an interest in electronic instrumentation and the production of sound in a vacuum. Since their formation, the Detroit-based duo has become a favorite among fans of the droning, space rock sound, sprinkling releases throughout the post-rock underground on labels such as Mind Expansion, Astro Lanes, Alley Sweeper and Che.
