Leaving behind the quiet desert life of Albuquerque, Deepsky quickly adjusted to the accelerated pace of Los Angeles. Within a few months of their arrival, J. Scott G. and Jason Blum set up their studio in L.A. and did all kinds of great remixes.
After trading a few mixes in early '98 with U.S. artists Andy
Hughes and Dream Traveler, they quickly attracted the attention of Moonshine Music (for whom they remixed Carl Cox, Cirrus and Omar Santana), F-111
(Funkopath), City of Angels (The Light and BT) as well as
a Japanese heavyweight Avex and U.K. stalwart Bonzai.
