Crosstown Traffic
Grayhound Records
DJ Garth and Rob Doten formed Crosstown Traffic in '97. Their first release together -- "Open Sesame" b/w "Seen?" -- was a huge success on the West Coast and made quite a splash in the U.K. with the chaps at Paper Recordings and Talkin' Loud's own Gilles Peterson to name but a few. "Open Sesame" was eventually picked up by film director Gus Van Sant for his film Speedway Junky. "Surfin' Samurai" is taken from the duo's second Grayhound release, The Twilight Trilogy.
