Miami, Florida's Casey Hogan spent his formative years exploring his father's extensive record collection. With an established career in the radio business, Hogan's father introduced young Casey to everything from jazz to electro to disco. With a keen interest in the darker sounds of late '80s new beat and industrial, Hogan began experimenting on the decks and in the studio, though it wasn't until he moved to New York that his career really blossomed. To date, Hogan has unleashed his tough tech-house sounds on labels such as Plastic City, Intrinsic Design, Test 542, Ritual, and Immigrant. When not in the studio, you can find him behind the wheels in the more discerning DJ booths around the world. Hogan also runs a distribution company with Dietrich Schoenemann (Hidden Agenda/Remains Records) and has created his own imprint entitled Macintosh.

G.O.L. (Gentleman Of Leisure) is another of Alexi Delano's pseudonyms. Having previously joined forces for Plastic City, Delano and Hogan (pictured) reunite once again to produce the bongo-driven techno shocker "Quality Sequence." The track is featured on the impressive Immigrant compilation Border Crossing alongside cuts from Paul Mac, John Tejada, E.B.E., and label boss Robin Porter. It's what they call real techno.
