N.O.-Fi: A Live Documentation of New Orleans Garage/Surf/Punk
Anthony DelRosario (Turducken Recordings) and Chris Kirsch (Root Beer Extract Records) decided to document some of the best garage, punk, and surf in New Orleans the way it should be heard: live. The result is the N.O.-Fi compilation, 19 songs recorded at the Mermaid Lounge in New Orleans. Along with the Royal Pendletons, the disc contains music from Macgillicuddys, Ramparts, Persuaders, The Persuaders, and Royal Pendletons' singer/guitarist J. Matthew Uhlman's other band, Darkest Hours.
